At Black Door Bar and Eatery we are committed to redefining the way our guests view the comfort food giant that is, the Burger. Our restaurant's focus centres on putting forth fresh and inventive takes on refined comfort food, built on local, fresh produce.

Our handcrafted gourmet burgers will introduce our guests to new ingredients in an approachable manner using burgers as our vehicle to new culinary exploration. Whilst the not so humble burger is our passion, you won't go past our sticky ribs, crispy chicken, winning salads and many other sumptuous menu items.

The craftsmanship we put into our food continues behind the bar. With an extensive boutique cocktail and wine list, creations both modern and classic, with or without a twist but pairing beautifully with our menu.

Parents we haven't forgotten the little people. Rest assured at Black Door restaurant we believe children's menus should be user friendly, healthy and delicious. Gluten free available.

Black Door Bar and Eatery is available for private functions, conferences, staff training, weddings and special occasions by appointment.

Whatever the event or occasion, our team will design a function to suit your requirements. From cocktail parties, meetings, private dinners, presentations, seminars, conferences, wedding receptions, product launches, Christmas function or team-building event, we are the hosts to call.

EVENT HOSTING

Situated just 20 minutes from the heart of the Garden City, Black Door offers a unique, casual and personal experience for events, meetings or special occasions for groups of 10–90 people.

FACILITIES

Our restaurant is set within a revamped 138 year old historic home. Sitting on a 1000sqm of landscape garden with multiple outdoor seating areas offering guests a relaxed and comfortable setting.
